Congratulations on helping shape Atera! The feature you requested is currently being considered for development. Please be patient as the process can take a while or even stall to make way for other features. We’ll update you once it’s been implemented and released!
An error occurred while saving the comment Dexter Thrift commentedI feel like this is a Splashtop (or whatever remote connection client you are using) problem, but at the same time I 100% agree. There was a time when I could have two windows with dual monitors open while using Atera's Splashtop for RMM but it kind of just... Poofed

An error occurred while saving the comment Dexter Thrift commented+1 to this as well with a bit of a twist. Something to make life easier when replacing a PC. Perhaps with the same PC name is used Atera asks for confirmation or something or the like? Just replaced two desktops for clients today and had to be sure to follow in behind the on site tech and do house keeping.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dexter Thrift commentedThis was super useful for me when we were using Connectwise. This simple feature is very handy when you are in the office late and wanting to update some PCs and have no cell phone contact info to reach an end user to see if they have left for the day. Sure there are other ways around it, but boy having this at a glance feature sure helps with my laziness! :D

An error occurred while saving the comment Dexter Thrift commentedOne business will have multiple locations/offices and I'd love to see some kind of small integration for that outside of just having to add them to folders. Perhaps even a "Sort by IP" that would bunch them based on internet broadcast IP. If you have several PCs on the same public IP then surely they are all in the same office. Just shooting from the hip with ideas really.

Check the ticket automation area as this is already a thing. You just have to get it setup proper. I set our company up so that there is one rule that deals with ticket creation (It sends an email to the tech it is assigned to with ticket information as well as a pre-made form for the tech to send in his time sheet to dispatch to get it entered.) We have a second rule setup to handle ticket reassignments so that it will email the tech to let them know a ticket was reassigned to them. I removed all instances of emailing clients in these rules so now we can work without bothering a client.
I hope this helps get you where you need to be. If not contact Atera's live support and explain this issue and hopefully the support tech you get will know enough about Atera to help you out with this specific problem.
