Optional updates are the updates that you don’t do unless there is an issue with the hardware. Atera scans for all missing patches. It is missing the optional updates but will consider it missing patches. For it to be considered as fully patches, it needs to have the optional. What ends up happening is that we fact in fact patches system but for the tech point of view, the tech would think they need to patch it. It would be nice to be able to separate them.

We want to focus a lot on the systems that are patched – it is patched of our overall goal for our customers.
