SSO for the users portal
Integration to allow for SSO.
Hey all,
I am happy to announce we have introduced the possibility to log in via SSO to the service portal.
We support a single application connection, for both AzureAD applications and SAML-based IdPs.
The feature is currently available for our Enterprise customers using our IT department product. Down the line, we hope to introduce the SSO feature to our MSP customers as well.
If you'd like to read more, please follow this KB.
If you'd like to inquire about the Enterprise package, please reach out to your account manager or contact our customer success team (success@atera.com).
Thank you,
Yakov

SSO would be nice but I would like to see if implemented the option to prompt for a password at least, or in my case, prompt for my smartcard / HID device.

It would be useful if the ITD new product will have a single sign-on so all the company employees will be able to get into the service portal without the need to log in again with different details.

Yes, one of our business goals is to streamline user identity using SSO technologies.
So, at the moment I'm not rolling out the portal to my users because it means yet another password to forget.

Yes, yes, yes. SSO is a good thing.
SAML with Azure AD

Allow customers to log in to the customer portal using their identity provider. No need to remember ANOTHER password.

It would be nice that since we are already syncing contacts on customers to Azure AD, that the contact's password, for access the Customer portal also synced. SSO for the customer portal would be awesome.

Lack of SAML SSO let me look elsewhere.

Lack of SAML auth is the only real reason we haven't purchased Atera yet. This would be a massive step backwards for us as our current solution already has it, so we'd have to retrain 400 users to use individual passwords.... not gonna happen in our company.

Importing contacts from Azure works, so next step should be Single Sign On, for all contacts (users of customer portal)

Basically you want SAML.

Please add Azure AD integration. We want our users to be able to sign into Atera to submit tickets using their AD credentials.

Not sure why this is even a question! The integrated 2FA is clunky and painful. Every other RMM platform I know of has SSO... let's join the 21st-century Atera!

Azure AD Please!

This, with AzureAD please :)

That would be great, get rid of the poorly implemented 2FA

Single sign on (SSO) is something that we are really looking for in our PSA/RMM. Primarily Azure AD but supporting other SSO and Identity providers would be ideal.
For our organization, SSO is important because we have significant investments baked into ensuring our identities and credentials are properly managed. It would be great to extend that capability to Atera.
