  1. It would be nice to have the ability to change the Atera Agent Time Interval either via the Atera web interface, or via custom agent creation.
    Currently, because of end user latency, we get numerous alerts and tickets. The only way to resolve this is by using a script on each end point. (changing the registry)

  3. On older computers people tend to hold down Ctrl and F12 until they see the browser appear to enter ticket details. But by then multiple keystrokes have been recorded hence the ticket browser loads over and over and over again. Need a software "debounce" feature in the agent to fold multiple Ctrl and F12 requests over a given time period (perhaps a few seconds) into one request.

  4. It would be great if there was a way to have the agent do a internet bandwidth speed test every 4 hours or something, or even a way to run one manually and have it display on the portal for the agent.

  8. I would like to be able to push out a client specific MacOS Atera Agent through an MDM such as Intune. Either through a script or a client specific Atera Agent. We could then push the .pkg through Intune. Right now, it's just a generic .pkg installer and the terminal command option does't appear to work as a script.

  9. Hi. Software inventory to have automatic/inteligence to know which is :
    Managed - Indicates company allow for this software to be use.
    Restricted - Indicates that this application is not approved for use in the organization, blocked for future installation
    Needs Review - Indicates that these applications require review

    This can be one part of Potential Unwanted Application (PUA) also.

  12. Choose retired on a customer level: certain customers have different life cycle and they don’t want to pay for devices that they don’t touch for 30 days and then others for 45. Right now, I’m going through the data and then filtering out

  14. desktop thumbnail preview image in the client detail.
    I use this every day on screenconnect to see if a client is working or login to the computer. Just a desktop thumbnail preview image if so useful.

  15. I've posted about this before (can't remember where), but I feel like this should be a public service announcement now.

    If you uninstall an app using Atera's built-in feature in Software Inventory, and the app requests a restart, Atera WILL NOT SUPPRESS THE RESTART.

    The feature is there so I keep using it, not remembering that each time I do I get burned for it. Please either fix this so Atera suppresses reboots like it should, or allow me to block that option so I can't use it.

    The software uninstall feature is not ready for production without sane defaults…

  16. I would like to see device events as detected by Atera for individual endpoints. I recently had a client rename an endpoint which caused some duplicate entries in some of the other platforms I use. Atera kept working just fine, but it would be really nice to see a history of events like this so I can see what happened and when.

    There are several other use cases where this would be really helpful too:
    1.) Script executions
    2.) User account creation
    3.) User logon/logoff events
    4.) Critical/Error event log entries
    5.) Shutdown/Startup events
    6.) Windows Updates (client native, Atera…

  20. Most SNMP devices I deal with have the ability to send SNMP traps to a receiver, it would be nice to have the agent receive traps so issues can be discovered quickly (and this allows increasing the cycle of polling SNMP as issues from the device would be pushed immediately when detected)
