Alert on memory pressure (Mac)
Monitor memory pressure instead of memory utilization on Apple Silicon Macs. Memory utilization is a moot point on these devices as memory stays near full by design on this hardware. Memory pressure is a better gauge of stress on these systems.

Alerts when failed attempts logins on server or workstation
Like the solarwinds solution, I would like to have an alert when the login count for a server or workstation reaches 5 failed attempts with the account name used to try to login

We would like the ability to identify if a local administrator account has been enabled. Very simple, just run "net user administrator"
Please set it up to notify if a local administrator account has been enabled. This account is disabled by default, so if it is mysteriously enabled, we need to know about it.

A smarter way to monitor temperature
One of the most important features of any RMM solution is the monitoring of hardware. Specifically, temperature of the motherboard, CPU and DISK. Atera has that capability right now and thresholds are fully customizable. But different hardware has different thresholds.
Within the Intel lineup, there are different thresholds for the i3, i5 and i7. And even within the same processor family, there are different thresholds for different generations.
Having one conservative threshold generates a lot of false alerts. And going the other way is risky. Creating different thresholds for different processor types and generations becomes a management nightmare giving that…

Change Threshold profiles to use a Parent/Child relationship model
It would be nice if threshold profiles were overhauled to use a system that uses a default parent profile and then you just create child profiles that contain deviations from the parent profile, for example, say for example we decide that on most devices we want to change the space alert from 90% to 95%, at the moment you have to go through and update every single profile that you have created.
What would be nicer is if that all additional profiles inherited the settings in the parent profile and then you just tweak anything that you want to disable…

The machine name and customer is no longer a hyperlink to open in new tab
So before the alerts page update, the device name and customer name was a unique hyperlink in which you can (by clicking the mouse wheel button) open the device or customer in a new page.
I need to open a new tab by clicking customer and manually navigating to the device within the customer devices list. This is not a great UI experience and I would appreciate if the old functionality could be restored.

Alert statuses and repetitive reminders
Alerts, should be repetitive if someone is down. Currently you get ONE alert if something is down (servers, network equipment, etc....not desktops). There should be a repeating alarm (every 10 / 15 / X minutes) so that it is AWARE and RESOLVED. This is BASIC stuff for a RMM.
Also, you should have an alert that if something was DOWN, that it came back UP. Again, BASIC stuff in a RMM.

More automation
I would like to be able to run a specific script based on the name of the alert or based on the description of the alert.
For example: critical alert from the backup software which reports that the folder is full in the description. The script will look for the path of the folder in question and clean it up according to its parameters. If it has made room, the alert is resolved, otherwise a ticket is created.

Mac OS Threshold Profile
The default macOS threshold profile does not consider that Mac Fans will stop periodically and send erroneous fan errors all of the time. Unless we set the profile not to check. This was the same issue for the past 5 years.

It would be useful to be able to specify the polling interval for HTTP monitoring. I currently use Site24x7 and I am able to select the interval

See how many alerts per device
How many times has a machine raised an alert:
Scenario: You want to know if the same issue keeps occurring on a particular pc.
You set the alert status filter to Resolved – but there is no way to filter the list to just that machine and then while you are scrolling to find it the list suddenly refreshes and annoyingly puts you back at the top of the list!
Please give us an export to excel function and a filter by agent, and the ability to pause the list refresh!2 votes -
Add alert duration and when it happened
Would like to know how long did an alert last for and when did it happen: Scenario: You need to know the exact time an issue started with a machine and when it was resolved so that you know how long the issue went on for and you also want to use the exact time to help you match the cause in some other log such as the windows event viewer.

Add 'Connect' button under Alert tab
Would like to have the connect button in the Alerts page. Scenario: You want to investigate the alert on a machine using a remote control session – but the connect button that you get on the devices page (see below) is missing from the alerts screen!
This means that you have to make an extra click on the device name and wait for that page to load up before you can perform a connect.
Please add the missing button2 votes
