Patch Repository - Ability to set serveral PC's or servers as patch repositories and assign computers to use that PC to retrieve patches to save bandwidth.

Pre Patch Download. It would be nice if you could schedule the download of patches prior to the patch profile running. Some updates are large and this can greatly increase time to run patching. An option to download the patches prior to the patch installation would help improve readiness of patching and avoid conflicts with other scheduled tasks.

I support this feature request. We are providing IT service for commercail ships where bandwidth and data usage still matters because satellite air time is limited and expensive. We are planning to use Atera for the RMM and we would love to use it also for patch management and software packages. But without a local cache it is a show stopper.

In other MSP platforms I have used, we have the ability to cache patches and AV updates for a remote site on a single device which helps reduce the bandwidth requirements to deploy patches and AV updates. After talking to support, this architecture is not implemented today. This would be greatly beneficial for customers who have multiple sites but a single ISP at a central location.

on premise appliance to deploy patches, so if 30 devices that require the same patch, the patch is downloaded once and not 30 times.
