Alerts if a device goes offline and stays there for a certain time
It would be nice to be able to receive an email alert when a device goes offline and stays there for 30 days, for example.
Upon receiving these emails, one could specifically investigate why the device is offline.2 votes -
Script-based Threshold Item
The new script-based threshold item is a really great addition, but it highlights an important component missing from Atera - inheritance.
When applying thresholds to endpoints, it's necessary to have thresholds inherit monitors from upstream thresholds. Right now in Atera, only one threshold can be applied to any endpoint at a time. What we need are thresholds that can build upon each other and overwrite values based on where the value changes.
For instance, I'd like to configure a top level (default) threshold to apply to everyone, but then get more specific with thresholds at a customer, and even more…

Threshold Profile for last restart or shutdown time of computer. Alert through agent if over 7 days
Hi, I have a script that runs in a threshold profile to report if any PC has had an uptime of more than 7 days. This comes back in alerts. I want to be able to alert the user through the agent that their PC has been up for more than 7 days and to restart their PC.

Integrate Atera with SaaS Alerts
Unify enhances SaaS Alerts’ event data with device data from supported RMM platforms.
After mapping devices to their respective accounts, Unify can prove that users know their password, have the MFA token, and that they are accessing the SaaS application from a known device.

Count bubble on Alerts like you have for Network Discovery in left nav
This would allow users on other screens to see if there are alerts pending.
Currently we have to periodically click on Alerts to see if there are any.
Having the count show up will let us know when we need to look at them.1 vote -
Monitoring Alerts Separate from Threshold Alerts
For computers that have "availability monitoring" enabled, add an option to send those alerts to a different email address than what's listed under the Threshold alerts. This way, we can have separate notification when a computer is offline, rather than mixed up with all of the other threshold alerts.

Routing Alerts
Hi,
It would be nice to be able to route alerts. For example, my company wants alerts to be tickets but we do not want the Resolved alerts to be tickets. So it would be nice if we could route the Critical and Warning alerts to our support email and the Resolved alerts to our general emails.1 vote -
Alarm-Dashboard - Custom labeling for Eventlog-Events
In the alarm dashboard, threshold alarms of the event log type are presented in a confusing manner.
The own designation of the threshold value is not adopted in the overview of the dashboard.
This already works well with scripts. So it would be good if all alerts could have a custom /userfriendly name.

When reviewing alerts and opening a ticket from an alert, device that originally caused the alert not automatically adding to newly ticket.
When reviewing alerts and opening a ticket from an alert, device that originally caused the alert not automatically adding to new ticket. As an example, I received an alert for disk usage exceeding 95%, this of course is directly associated with a device since it triggered the warning, however when creating a ticket from this alert, it is not associating the device with the ticket, only a customer (presumably one who last used the device) and if that customer does not have that particular device assigned to them it won't associate with the ticket at all. This should be intuitive…

Pause alerts on multiple devices
When doing maintenance of whatever on multiple machines, it would be very handy to pause the alerts on all those machines in one time. Now you can only do it per machine.
There is already a multiple select for machines when you're looking at the machines of a customer, so adding a button to pause alerts shouldn't be that difficult I hope.6 votes -
Pivot into specific logs triggering an alert
If I receive an alert for failed logins, I would like an icon to bring me to those events or to summarize IP/User or something similar.

supress alerts
Can you please add the ability to suppress/alerts for devices indefinitely? At the moment the longest I can set it is 5 hours which is annoying for devices that I need to have alerts stop for.

Having a text alert for down customers sent to our cell phones
Being able to receive a text on our cell phones when a customer, mostly commercial customers, go down or there are critical errors would be crucial and very beneficial. This would be a much appreciated feature.

Automate printer consumable orders from SNMP generated alert
We want to be able to offer Automated Consumable Orders for our customers via Atera. We are monitoring their printers via SNMP. When the printers reach "Low Toner" status we want Atera to automatically create a ticket and email the supplier to order that client some toner and then close the ticket.
At the moment we can make this work, however there is one big problem. It will automatically create a ticket for ALL "Warning" or "Critical" status. Maybe this could be fixed with a new alert status called "Consumable"?
