I propose an enhancement to Atera platform, specifically regarding the integration of new devices into the system. The key features of this proposal are as follows:

Automatic Addition of Devices to Assets: Newly added devices should be automatically registered as assets within the system. This feature could be toggleable via an option in the admin panel, allowing for flexibility based on the customer's preference.

Data Relationship Linking: There should be a functional link between the 'Devices' section and the 'Assets' section. For instance, if a device is removed or decommissioned in the assets section, the system should prompt the user with the option to also remove it from the devices section. This could be implemented as a prompt or a checkmark option for streamlined management.

Device Identification Enhancements: For computers, the existing identification system is sufficient. However, for SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) devices, an improvement in the identification process is suggested, possibly by using a general name or a similar identifier.

This enhancement aims to streamline the asset management process, making it more efficient and user-friendly. It aligns with the goal of simplifying IT management tasks and reducing the manual workload on IT professionals.
