Improve adding Manual Time Entries
In the new UI, entering manual time entries is very laborious.
Having to enter HH:MM:SS and then type AM or PM, twice (start and finish) multiple times per day is very annoying.
It should be in 24-hour format. So we just enter, for example, 11.48 and 13.17, and that’s it. If we don’t enter seconds then these should default to 00 on seconds.

Allow the setting of time sheet increments specific to a customer, some customers are billed in 15 minute increments while others in 20 or 30 minute increments, increments per customer can vary based on onsite or remote work, some customers have travel time for onsite work,

Not all customers have the same billing incremetns, some are in 15 minute increments some are in 20 minute increments, also some have minimum time charge per tickets, allow the entry by customer of these options

Currently, the only way for engineers to check how many hours they've logged in Atera during the day is by running a report, which requires specific permissions not everyone has. This makes it difficult to track our daily time usage and manage workload efficiently. I’m proposing a simple feature that allows individual users to view their own logged hours (per day/week) without needing access to the full reports section. This would help engineers stay aware of their time tracking and improve productivity without compromising data access controls.

Please fix this, it's so bad, you can barely read a line or two at a time and the window is not expandable.

I would like to see the internal notes have a place to add time. I work my tickets through internal and external notes. I should be able to add my time right to the notes. Having the time entries with separate notes in a separate section causes me to have to double enter.
You could then remove the time entry screen. It is not efficient to have to click the ticket, click the time entry, then click on each note to see what it says... but it has to be there to pull to the timesheet.
At the very least, allow time to be added to an internal note and have the note and time automatically copied to the time entries section for reporting.

Reviewing what my techs have done is really frustrating where the information I need is in their time entry. While reading the conversation and going back and forth from the pop out window is really tough.

time entries are essential informations for the customers to get to know about the progress of a ticket.
so it would be a good idea to have an ability to automaticly send a mail with informaions about a time entry via ticket automation rules

Ticket time entry description box is too small on all platforms. This needs to be resized larger than three lines. I need to read and edit what I am writing. The scroll bar is useless and skips lines I need to see. I have to use the arrow keys to move in the text description box and it is very cumbersome.

Es wäre schön wenn der Kunde im Ticketportal sehen kann was an Zeiten abgerechnet wird. Teilweise ist dieses Erforderlich damit dann Rechnungen nachvollzogen werden können.

I completely agree. Please don't shut off the old UI until this gets fixed with an input box that is larger or can be resized.

Also, the popup window for manual time entries is way too small, in particular the tiny section for notes is difficult when writing detailed notes about work performed.

It is also not possible to use the European time format like 13:00 instead of 01:00 AM. I would really like the old time entry UI back. It would save al lot of time and irritations..

When marking a ticket as resolved it would be good to provide a customisable prompt to the technician, for example - Have you recorded a time entry for this ticket?

The placement is nice but previously I could type just 5 or 15 or whatever and it would understand that meant minutes. Now I've apparently got to type 00:05:00 or it complains that I'm trying to set it to more than 24h - which doesn't even make sense because 05:00:00 would only be 5 hours.
Please put it back how it was. -

Time tracking is currently a huge pain point for my company when dealing with Atera. We need some kind of time entry screen where we can see each technician's work week and their time entries for each day-- allow us to add/edit time here.

Very frustrating. Just logged this as well. Any and all shorthand options should still be available.
Back to the old interface for now... -

New interface for tickets has a stupidly small time entry box that cant be resized.
Clearly who came up with it isnt a user of the system. -

in old UI when adding time you are able to just delete the default time entirely and enter :xx as a shorthand for 0 hrs xx min
in new UI it requires entering 00:xx or it thinks you are attempting to enter it as hours
Please bring back the :xx shorthand for only minutes

Add a feature/option where we can set a mandatory minimum amount for something like on-site support. For example, set it to where each ticket gets billed at one hour minimum, then at 15-minute increments thereafter. Quite a few MSP's, and other small shops have a mandatory minimum of an hour per ticket in their contracts, even if it takes them 20 minutes to fix an issue. That way, they can have more standardized billing practices.
