Having the ability to create simple boards that are just related to tasks and not necessarily tickets would be great, and reduce our need to use another tool for task management/tracking.

The ability to use the tickets dashboard in kanban view is a great idea, both for management and productivity.
it will also be great to be able to create custom ticket status for each org. using atera as per their needs
