  3. Email configuration for the helpdesk should allow for Office 365 integration. That way the ticketing system is reading the mailbox directly AND does not need to using name spoofing which can cause issues with mail filters like VIP Impersonation. It would be great to see Atera utilize this feature that has been readily available in other help desk platforms.

Sometimes when there is heavy workload and the customers are angry if we're calling after more than 15-30 minutes from ticket creation time. my suggestion is to send an automated reply with "we will call you back shortly" so the customers will feel that their problem is being mitigated and we did not forgot them.

  6. A client emailed a ticket to our support ticket system and I wanted to schedule it for a later date but was unable to. Upon investigation tickets can only be scheduled when it is created within Atera.

  11. We have a ticket automation rule setup where all tickets go to a specific tech first, and then the tech re-assigns the ticket to other techs according to the issue. However if that technician is out of the office for the day, the other techs need to keep an eye on their ticket inbox. It would be nice to have a condition added to the automation rules where if that tech is offline, the ticket automatically goes to another techs ticket cue.

  12. When using the Ai summary from the ticket window, the summary should include time spent on ticket breaking it up by billable and non billable.

    This would allow supervisors and managers to keep track of time spent supporting issues

  13. Ability to not assign the ticket to anyone: when you have a ticket, it is only assigned to one person, requester info and every response goes to that person, but we’ve CCd people. The only person that we need to have a convo with is the third-party vendor. We’d be collaborating with 3rd parties, we don’t want to keep changing that ticket over. We just want to move it out from “to”.

  14. Change how the first response is registered as our techs don't often send an email from the ticket before starting to work as we have the Automated responses for when a ticket gets assigned and then techs usually contact the client directly.
    Can either changing the status from Open to Schedule or In-Progress count as First response or once the Automated response for when the Tech has been assigned be used as the First response.

  15. With Autotask, it has templates and it sets up the billable contracts. It fills out everything, and it is integrated with our accounting system. All you have to do is click a button and then the contracts will be filled our and it will create tickets as well.

  16. Only a minor thing, but the new font being used for the ticket timer is just plain ugly. It cheapens the interface, its way bigger than it needs to be. Please change it back to the previous font.

  17. If I create a ticket in the name of the customer, it shows the name of the customer in the ticket description as if the customer wrote the ticket.
    Even if I open the ticket in the name of the customer, it still should show that I wrote the entry. Every entry should have the name of the original author, so it's clear in the conversation history who wrote the specific entry.

  18. Would love an "if this then that" sort of automation, or better, AI assistance. With the AI understanding our product categories, it should be able to use some keywords to properly categorize tickets (or let us give 3-4 keywords per category that trigger it)

    Right now we have a new ticket rule that says if x is in the subject or body, category is Y

    As you can imagine, that gets extremely unwieldy very fast. I'd like one "categorization rules" area where I can say "if x, then y. if a, then b. If C, then d"

  20. Ability to send an email from a ticket without including the ticket holder.

    For example, A user sends through a request that requires HR approval. I would like to be able to email HR to request approval without having to include the user who sent in ticket.
