  1. This seems almost too obvious to me, but there should be an easy way to generate an invoice for a customer based on the Products and Services that are added to their Tickets. Bonus points if this feature can let you checkbox which products and services to put on a given invoice.

    Example: Customer walks in with computer problem, ticket is generated, diagnostic fee added to ticket and invoice created. Customer pays up front diag fee. Technician finds bad hard drive, adds new hard drive cost to ticket, additional labor, then selects just these 2 additional entries for export to…

  2. It would be nice if we could assign a product family and sub-families to monitored devices so that automated tickets associated with those devices would auto-populate the family and sub-family information.

  3. Ability to enter time into replies/communication with client from ticket.

    When escalating a ticket, we need to see what work has been done without having to drill down in another location (Time Entries). We'd like to see all communication and notes from one screen - Times and dates worked on.

  4. To have the ability to modify the dates of a ticket when\ after they are created. So if I logged the ticket 2 days after I can say it opened back then.

  5. Create a simple option to block anyone who is not a contact or using the domain of the client company. Will help stop spam emails/tickets being created.

  8. Our organization does not track first response. Only requires tickets to be completed in 24hrs. It does not appear that I can set this up currently.

  9. Currently, if engineer/technician goes to ticket time entries, he can see the rate we are charging customer. This information should not be shown to technician unless allowed via permissions. Billing and how much who is charged is responsibility of accounts team and engineers are not supposed to even see this information.

    You can mention the rate name, but no need to add the value to it... THat can be looked up if needed.

  10. There a not many contact fields synced with Azure AD. An important way is contact our customers via telephone (not mobile) - and that is missing. Also important is the field office or addresses. Because we have customers with more than one location.

    I am happy to share we're working on syncing the Business phone number to the Atera phone field during the AzureAD sync.

  11. Allow a technician or requestor to post a comment that both can see, but no email is generated. This allows for information to be tracked that should not be in an email, but both parties need to see it.

  12. When you go on site and then close a ticket, it would be nice send an email to the client that summaries everything that was done. Where we can export and send to the client for signature or for him to know that we did a, b, c

  14. The Priority, impact and type are now filed in, but it should be empty, so a technician is required to fill the with the correct fields. Now the default always are
    Low, no impact and incident. This means nobody thinks about it and use these fields

  15. Filter Tickets by SLA based on Customer. There is currently a "Rank" field but it isn't customizable and if you create a custom field for customer you can't use it to filter in the ticket view as only ticket based custom fields show up in the filter.

    I'd like to have the ability to create a saved filter for each class of ticket (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc) for tickets to use the SLA prioritization that already is connected via the customer's default contract to show how much time is left.

  16. The ability to change from which mailbox the calendar event is set. What is currently happening to us is that we have a shared mailbox and a technician specific mailbox, it is picking the technician specific mailbox as default when setting the event as that is the main mailbox on the technicians PC. We of course would like the shared mailbox to be used to set events.

  17. While the 'Restore'/'Discard' last message feature is convenient, a more robust solution would be to have a Drafts folder for ticket replies. Since the 'Restore' button only restores the last message, the last message appears to get replaced with a signature on a new message.
    More control over the restore feature by replacing it with reply drafts would prevent lost replies or having to type lengthy replies somewhere else (like Word with Autosave enabled) and then copy it over.

  18. When clients receive an email, the preview should be the first few sentences of the body as it is on Outlook and other email clients. When technicians reply to a ticket from Atera, the users receive '___Please Reply Above This Line___' on the email preview and that just looks unprofessional as well as there is no real benefit as the user has to actually click on the email to view the body. I have been using Atera for almost 2 years and I can assure you it was better before without this preview feature.

  19. Ability to track mileage within the ticket system. This would allow tracking a technicians mileage and charge the customer with ease. All techs use a ticket to support so this would be awesome. Other systems have this feature.
