Agreed. Not a good idea. It will just confuse junior admins and techs as well because it won't work half the time. Patch Orchestration takes time and planning, unfortunately. Maybe one day it won't. But that's more of an OS thing. Hot patching is in GA on certain Windows editions. Maybe it will come and things like this could be realistic. It isn't now.

This is very easy to do with a script and scheduled task. Then use reports for success. PSWindowsUpdate. It'll be one line of 'code'

Guys, this is so easy. There are multiple scripts you can run to check. You can also do a scripted custom field for TPM and have the report you want. Happy to provide the script if you all need it. Very easy to use.
To easy to script to be a feature. Also more flexible. What release channel? Is it shared license for VDI, do you not want Teams or Access installed or updated? Is it click to run version? Etc This is something you use and xml and one command line to do. Having it built in would be cool, I guess but this is a basic 15 min admin task to create a one click script to do based on environment parameters. Google is your friend.
