  3. Currently, the Apple Mac agent is not uninstalled, when a device is deleted in Atera.
    Deleted devices keep popping up as new devices.
    This is a no-go, especially when a service contract ends. There has to be a simple solution for uninstalling Mac agents automatically .

  4. Say you want to store the result of a script in to a custom filed of the agent. FOr example get the bitlocker recovery key (strange btw Atera does not gather this by design) and store the key in a custom field like

    {[Atera.Agent.BitlockCustomFIeld]} = (Get-BitLockerVolume -MountPoint C).KeyProtector.RecoveryPassword

  5. Have an option that can be selected to notify the technician when an agent is online. This would be handy for laptop users who have requested help but are in-between offices where WOL isn't an option but you would like to know when they do come back online.

    Currently I temporarily monitor the device then remove the monitoring once I have completed the work.

  7. I personally thing Atera should have its own Remote Desktop software in addition to having the integration of other 3rd party solution such as teamviewer, splastop etc. for those who have them and wish to use them.

    However i think having 1 complete solution provides easier management and smother running of system especially when it come to updates (sometimes splash top crash's or cant connect to agent)

    In addition to this, i am limited to the features using 3rd party remote solutions provide thought Atera, which means i have to pay Atera and another Subscription cost for a full version…

  8. Within Atera it asks that we define the business Public IP. What would be nice is to view if a user is working at the office or remotely when looking at devices under the customer name.
    One could have a simple reference point to the Public IP that is defined and display a "true statement" if the user is at the office or remotely.

  10. I really like the agent metrics graph when opening an agent device. It would super helpful if the graph could also show network usage (per adapter - wifi vs wired) and hard drive space usage over time. If a device is suddenly showing a full drive, it would nice to see the usage history. Especially if it suddenly got full over the past couple days.

  12. E.g. our old monitoring system could detect the O/S running on the device and we had set the system to organise it into the servers folder automatically.

In current scenario we have available helpdesk agent software for windows machine in our atera account . now we want to install helpdesk agent software on mac machine but it's not available at this time for agent through communicate with our mac user. please implement agent software on atera.

  14. We would like the ability to print the Software Inventory for one device individually.

    This would save hours when onsite to replace a workstation to have a paper sheet to reference rather than dig through currently installed programs.

    Current reports allow me to print all software installed for a client, but not selective to an individual workstation.

  15. Can the agent be updated for the M1 chip Macs? The current agent requires the use of Rosetta 2. This is fine in the short term, but the M1 has been available since November 2020

  16. The patch history of devices shows some updates which are applied but not all. Support told me that getting updates over WUA API only shows updates which are still on the update servers.

    Problem now is that you cannot be sure which updates are applied to the servers because the updates suddenly disappear from the history. So you have no overview which patches are applied.

  17. Being able to easily identify if the client has made any changes to their device. Some form of delta change notification if system changes are made. For example, if a user swaps out the monitor, changes keyboard, or installs some major application (assuming they have local admin permissions). At this point, the dashboard and device details show current state, but this is basically "as is" review of what the agent sees rather than if there was a change to the system from the previous time the agent checked in.

  18. It frequently takes forever for an agent to come online. Sometimes even longer for Remote access to be available. This may be a Splashtop-only issue.
    Can a system Tray Icon be implemented with some basic functionality like Request Remote Assistance? Repair Atera Agent. Request chat.This would hopefully poke the system into recognizing an agent is online and available for Remote Control or whatever the customer seeks help with.
