I want to use scheduled tickets to assign regularly scheduled maintenance tasks like daily backup monitoring checklists, monthly firewall firmware updates and any other general "list of stuff to do" type situations.

I would like to add my support for this as well. Coming from ConnectWise, we edit almost every note that gets put through the system.

I completely agree. Please don't shut off the old UI until this gets fixed with an input box that is larger or can be resized.
