We have been working with Atera for a short while now and every time I go a bit further in Atera, I come across another missed option. I look for these in user voices and often see that options were requested years ago...
Ultimately, I can't use Atera properly. There are still too many generic options that don't really offer a conclusive solution. Too many options have to be implemented too much twice or with a detour, just like Primary Freights describes.

if a device is offline, it doenst mean it failed, it couldnt be started.
This should be detailed in the Report.
There is an "Offline agent execution preference" for like a Day. But the report does not show that the offline devices are shedeuled for the next 24 hours.

I have to create groups, per customer, where i add servers in, same for workstations. When a server/workstation is added, i have to put this in the correct group.
If a dynamic group is possible, this would save a great deal and less errors in the future.Like more features i find Ciritical, this is one of them. And this feature doesn't seem to hard to make. But Atera knows this feature is needed sinds 2021....
Create group
where os name = server
make a script that can be run manually and one that runs every 24 hour, to update the dynamic group :)Peter van der Kleij

Can you see the CPU temperature?
I was getting alerts for Disk temperature, seems you cannot see the value... You can, but you have to fire a script....Would be a great/simple? add-on, to be able to see all the values that are already available but are not shown yet.
Real sad to see that is an post from 3 years ago...

Also adding a threshold if an issue takes longer than X-time.
For instance, if CPU usage is higer than 95% for more than 5 minutes.
Also adding the possibiltiy to exclude certain period, for like backup moment between 23:00 and 00:00Peter van der Kleij

I am really surprised that these kinds of basics are not present.
I do get notifications that the temperature is too high, but I cannot see these values (yes, when I execute a script) and I cannot get a metric of this either.Especially if the data is already in Atera, they could easily be added.
AI is nice, but if the basis is not there yet, then leave AI alone.
PS. can't you let AI program these functions into Atera ;).Peter van der Kleij

Why even bother to ask for features.
This features only needs a second option to program.
Not only with off.
But also with on.
But this option has being asked 3 years ago....
