Notify when device is back online
If availability monitoring is enabled for a device, Atera sends alerts when that device goes offline. However, it would be very useful if it would also send a notification when the device is back online (after a reboot for example). This is a basic feature and a must-have in my opinion.

A smarter way to monitor temperature
One of the most important features of any RMM solution is the monitoring of hardware. Specifically, temperature of the motherboard, CPU and DISK. Atera has that capability right now and thresholds are fully customizable. But different hardware has different thresholds.
Within the Intel lineup, there are different thresholds for the i3, i5 and i7. And even within the same processor family, there are different thresholds for different generations.
Having one conservative threshold generates a lot of false alerts. And going the other way is risky. Creating different thresholds for different processor types and generations becomes a management nightmare giving that…

Change Threshold profiles to use a Parent/Child relationship model
It would be nice if threshold profiles were overhauled to use a system that uses a default parent profile and then you just create child profiles that contain deviations from the parent profile, for example, say for example we decide that on most devices we want to change the space alert from 90% to 95%, at the moment you have to go through and update every single profile that you have created.
What would be nicer is if that all additional profiles inherited the settings in the parent profile and then you just tweak anything that you want to disable…

Alert statuses and repetitive reminders
Alerts, should be repetitive if someone is down. Currently you get ONE alert if something is down (servers, network equipment, etc....not desktops). There should be a repeating alarm (every 10 / 15 / X minutes) so that it is AWARE and RESOLVED. This is BASIC stuff for a RMM.
Also, you should have an alert that if something was DOWN, that it came back UP. Again, BASIC stuff in a RMM.

Alert groups
I'd like to be able to group alerts. For example Server alerts or Workstation alert don't go to the same email address.
Eve better if it could be different email for different Customers.
Customers have different SLA so this is important for MSP's15 votesNice! The feature you requested is being reviewed by our product team. We’ll keep an eye on the number of votes, and let you know if a decision is reached to implement. Thank you for being a partner in our process!

When an alert comes in from a failed login, it would be great if the alert can show the events details so I don't have to go searching through the event viewer.

Auto resolve eventlog alerts
I would be nice, to set a rule to eventlog alerts, that if the event doesnt occour again in X minutes, then the alert is resolved automatically.
Or make an option to resolve the alert based on later events.

Event Monitoring Improvement
I would very much like a lot of improvement when monitoring Windows event logs. I don't want to specify an event source -OR- event ID. I need to specify the log, source, -AND- the ID.
The very few prebuilt Atera event monitors have the ability to notify based on frequency. At the very least I would like to change that frequency, but it would be extremely helpful if we could specify a frequency like that when building a custom monitor.
I also want to monitor events based on their criticality but not have that set the criticality of the alert…

Availability Monitoring (Customer wide)
Change to Availability Monitoring to become part of Alert Threshholds so that they be used customer/account wide easier
Alternatively: an API method to set it enabled/disabled,
or a param to use using install to automatically add agent to account and set Availability Monitoring to enabled per default for the device.26 votesNice! Mass alert suspension for up to 48 hours
For specific kinds of maintenance we need to be able to suspend alerts on a wide range of devices for up to 48 hours. Right now, it is a very tedious process to suspend alerts and it's only possible to suspend them for up to 5 hours.
Please offer more options for suspending alerts, as this feature is vital for maintenance work.
