Option to run updates when Agent reconnects (for PCs that don't power on regularly)
I try to run an update automation but many of the PCs are not on at the time because of the type of office I support. (Day/Night and changing schedules)
It would be great to tell an Agent to run updates the next time it re-connects to Atera and report back.189 votesThanks to you, Atera is better today than it was yesterday! The feature you requested has been implemented and released!
You can configure the setting to run on offline agents on a global level that will apply on all profiles, or for each profile separately.

Schedule Agent Reboot \ Shutdown \ Loggoff
Schedule a one time reboot, shutdown or logoff.
At the moment we can only run these commands immediately. It would be great if we can schedule a one-time event without having to create an IT Automation schedule.

Install Agent and assign to client AND folder
I'd like to be able to install an agent and for the agent to be automatically assigned to a client and a folder for that client. This would enable me to assign a software deployment task to automatically install applications on a new PC

Bit Locker discovery
It would be good if the Agent could discover if Bit Locker is activated and possibly store the encryption key for Administrator safe keeping.
88 votesHey everybody, We're happy to announce we've released your feature request and now you can see the Bitlocker status in the Atera agent console. Furthermore, the Bitlocker recovery key will be stored in the Atera agent console. Thank you for bringing this request to our attention, hope this makes your day to day easier!

Ability to store script variables into device agent custom fields
Say you want to store the result of a script in to a custom filed of the agent. FOr example get the bitlocker recovery key (strange btw Atera does not gather this by design) and store the key in a custom field like
{[Atera.Agent.BitlockCustomFIeld]} = (Get-BitLockerVolume -MountPoint C).KeyProtector.RecoveryPassword

Prevent users from disabling Atera and Splashtop
We have a few users that are disabling or uninstalling Atera and Splashtop services.
Do you have a script that will prevent them from doing this?
Or at least password protection to prevent disable or uninstall.53 votesThanks to you, Atera is better today than it was yesterday! The feature you requested has been implemented and released!
We have implemented a mechanism to prevent the Atera agent from being uninstalled by end users. Please refer to the "uninstall prevention" section under the knowledge base article:

target specific folder on agent deployment
ability to target folders within a customer when deploying agent with a flag or custom MSI. We deal alot in education and re-image devices yearly so we have to constantly delete devices then manually move them to the correct folders. Where as if we targeted the device with the correct flag or msi it would then auto add to that folder. It would also be nice to be able to set it so if in that folder a duplicate device name is found to merge the two together.
