  1. I think there should be a button that force refresh on the Available Patches.

We have a script that force windows updates, and once most of our devices are updated, we need to one by one, manually click on the 'Available Patches' 'manage' button, and once the interface opens, click to manually refresh it.

This all process could be avoided, if we could select the list of devices we want to 'refresh' and then a refresh button to force the refresh on them.

As some devices are just listed on the Devices list, but had been there without any refresh…

  3. NinjaOne (formerly NinjaRMM) has a feature called Activity Stream which shows all of the relevant events for a device on the device page. It would be really great to have something similar in Atera.

I'd like to be able to see a history of alerts, scripts run on the endpoint, date added, date retired, user login/logoff, reboots (or shutdown/start events), apps installed/updated, patches applied, and any other metrics relevant to RMM.

  4. For some strange reason software inventory only works when a machine is online, yet the information is already in your database but you cannot report on an individual offline asset.

If a machine breaks and is replaced by another asset, we need to know what software was installed on the machine before it broke.

  6. A new feature was recently released that allows us to see agents requiring a reboot. There is no way to reboot them all.

    It would be great if:

    1) We could use Patch search and deploy to install patches and have an option in there to reboot the agent after successful install
    2) We could select ALL agents requiring a reboot and reboot them instead of individually

    Hi there!

On the new devices page there is now an option to filter all devices that are pending a reboot. Once filtered, you can select all the devices, go to the bulk actions-> shutdown actions-> reboot.

You can select to perform an immediate reboot or schedule a future one!

For any additional questions please reach out to support via live chat or email support@atera.com

  9. Need the ability to either create custom fields that can be used in scripts that can store data. For instance a field that can store the devices's bitlocker recovery key that microsoft automatically enables on devices linked to microsoft accounts.

    Hey everybody,

We're happy to announce we've released your feature request and now you can see the Bitlocker status in the Atera agent console. Furthermore, the Bitlocker recovery key will be stored in the Atera agent console.

Thank you for bringing this request to our attention, hope this makes your day to day easier!

  10. Our organization has shared PCs where one device can have multiple contacts. As of right now, Atera only provides the ability to assign a single contact to a device. By allowing multiple contacts to be assigned, it can make it easier when users submit tickets to already know which device they belong to.

  13. Select ALL devices at once
To add profiles/software bundles, alert thresholds, etc.

When you use the checkbox to select all devices, the UI only selects the 20 currently showing devices instead of ALL devices.

I would like to select ALL devices without endless scrolling down to show all devices and then scroll back up again, to check the box and push a change at once.

  14. I want to be able to set a 'last seen' threshold as a filter in the Devices view.

Right now, I can sort by all online, or all devices. I want to be able to see all recent devices while excluding retired or seldom-used ones (for example, when reporting on patching).

I also want to be able to sort by last seen, to be able to locate the oldest device records and modify or update as necessary.

  15. It would be good to allow the creation of 'manual assets', eg. printers, IP CCTV, switches, WAP's, and other devices that don't necessarily have an agent installed, but enough information manually entered to negate the need for things like IT Glue, SI Portal, or Hudu. Would gladly pay extra if it met my needs. Of course the mobile app would need to access this information too (IP's, passwords, documentation etc).

  19. Apply on or more specific windows updates manually (not through an automization profile) on multiple clients at one (in example for the whole folder/group). The report functionality (https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005734647-Patch-Search-Deploy-Report) is not sufficient

  20. It would be great to be able to filter the devices list by the type of device. A simple click to include or exclude workstations/servers/SNMP....
