Basically, it's an extra click with the potential to send me down a "please let us access your devices" rabbit hole that I ultimately have to undo. Biometrics are a "nice to have" when they work, but even hashed with a device, my dead body/dismembered finger can unlock my phone and Atera. It's less secure, and I don't want to use it, and I would like to not be forced to continually explain that decision to a security focused crowd.
