  1. Being able to integrate with active directory would make life so much easier. If your device list was paired with AD you wouldn't have to manually add / delete devices. It would be done automatically. And you could continue to sort different devices into different folders. Reports about software licensing would be more accurate.

  3. What attached system information can help you solve support tickets, opened via the Atera Helpdesk Agent, faster? CPU, memory, network info, anything else?

  4. We enabled WOL (Wake on LAN) on our desktops. It would be great if we can schedule a WOL packet being send to offline computers before processing the automation task. So we never interupt the end users by processing the updates outside office hours.

  5. Software bundles can currently only be created with a specific version of an application. E.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in version: 2021.005.20058, but Chocolatey can always install the latest version.

    It should be possible to make bundles that install e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in the latest version. Otherwise the packages often have to be adapted.

  8. I would pay double if we could get a dedicated, customizable WALLBOARD that doesn't have access to anything except the widgets we checkbox.

    Basically the existing Dashboard, but not requiring a User License and that WALLBOARD user not having access to anything except for the live dashboard.

    Every other system has a Wallboard/NOC Display feature.

    No user license would be used for this, as it wouldn't be a user, but I wouldn't be against paying a little extra for this "user", as I understand it would require it's own login. That dedicated login would also have to not be limited…

  9. It would be nice if the Atera agent could discover and effectively manage hypervisors, as Hyper-V. That it detects the Hyper-V role installed, Virtual Machines running on each host, and show the statistics and status of all the VMs in almost real-time in the web console. Also, to be able to see the overall resource utilization like RAM, CPU, Disk, from the host side, so that we can confirm our virtualization host is going OK. Also later the ability to monitor and manage Hyper-V Clusters.

  10. I'd like to be able to display the dashboard on a large TV in the office - with alerts, ticket count and technicians' performance - ideally via a custom URL - something that does not require an engineer license and not have access to helpdesk, scripts or device management.

  12. A major feature for any helpdesk is the ability to create workflows for ticket requests or changes. This can be automatic, so if this is requested, please email this user in contacts for approval, or the approver can be manually selected on the ticket/request ie software install, file share access or new equipment. IT facilitates and implements company/business decisions. Having an approval process would go a long way in helping a company meet ITIL framework requirements.

  13. When a technician resolves a ticket and there is not added a time entry, it would be nice if Atera then prompts the technician with a popup asking "You're about to resolve a ticket, but there no time entry added?" and then two buttons saying "Yes, continue" or "Add time entry"

  14. Executive customer report. Intended to be sent to the customer once a month.
    This report should include the following;

    How many tickets were opened, closed,
    How many alerts were opened and closed,
    How many updates/patches were installed
    Status of AV,
    Status of backup,
    How much time technicians were in remote session
    overall health of their systems.

    This would give us a leading approach and make it easier for us to quantify costs if they are seeing how much work is being done in the background.

  15. We have an existing cloud tenant with another distributor. It would be great to be able to integrate existing tenants into Atera and then also have alerts from Acronis automatically created in Atera.

  16. Provide a Remote Connection report to show dates, times and duration of a remote connection. This is highly valuable to demonstrate remote actions to clients and justify MSP services and value. Also to potentially include remote worker reporting for add-on billing of the service.

  17. Currently we use ITARIAN, which allows us to rename and install the agent using our company name, this appears in the start menu and add or remove programs as our company name, this help avoid customer uninstalling by mistake if they don't know what the software is.

  19. We have a few practices that use a tablet (one client uses Android, another two use iPads). We would love the ability to install Atera on tablets to have a more complete understanding of our client's network picture.
