  1. It's currently troublesome to install an app via IT Automation on a Mac, as Brew needs Admin rights for certain apps and the first time usage of Brew throws folder privilege issues on Big Sur 11.5.2.

    So please:
    Fix the permission issues for the required folders
    Add the ability to use admin rights to install apps.

  2. I appreicate the constant updates to the platform, but it would be really good to have the option to view the tickets in the 'legacy/old' layout. The location of the "Awaiting customer response"/"Awaiting Technician Reponse" etc was so much easier to see at a glance, also the filters were alot easier to access. The new layout just seems too spread out.

  4. I wrote a simple script to delete a shortcut off the desktop of the logged in user, but no commands work! I can't do anything as simple as 'unlink ~/Desktop/<filename>' , unlink '/Users/$USER/Desktop/<filename> , unlink $HOME/Desktop/<filename>'....even cd commands to those locations don't work . None of those paths are recognized either in a script or in the Terminal interface in Atera. Script version won't work running as System, and if run as Current User I get a "user is not logged in" error

  5. We've started using ScalePad. I know Atera integrates with them already, however, their Software monitoring doesn't currently work with Atera. They current integrate with ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, Ninja, N-able, Cisco, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. I love using Atera and do not want to sign up for 1 license on another RMM to install it on everything just to use this feature. Thanks!

  6. Currently, the toggle to enable or disable Atera's new interface is a global setting. It would be much better if this were a user-specific setting.

  7. I would like to be alerted if unexpected ports are opened on the company firewall, a very simple pen test that scans a specified public IP (or URL) and checks if any non specified ports are open. It would be an automatic scan that runs once a day.

  8. Currently can only admins create etc, SNMP and TCP devices. It should be fair if non Atera admin could do that general technician task.

  9. Currently we can not connect to any PC in network if that PC does not have internet connection. due to which we have to use another tool to remote.
    just for one purpose we are forced to use two different remote tool which does not make sense.

    It will be great , if Atera add this feature in future release.

  11. Looking for a threshold warning for a process that IS running. The only option I can find is to monitor a process that IS NOT running.

  12. Currently, the software installation feature that works with chocolatey is very cumbersome to use. The search bar in atera does not work very well and will find software from the public chocolatey repository even if the name is copy&pasted. We reverted for now to create scripts in our library with the needed choco install commands.

When you copy / paste text into the composition box is a different colour but it's so subtle you cannot tell if you have pasted as text (no change in colour) or paste as normal and then you end up with a different background colour which cannot be noticed when composing the email but is noticeable when the customer receives the message.

  15. We've got a customer who is dealt with by a specific technician who also like to spam tickets and it'd be really useful for the other technicians to be able to easily filter out said customer.

  16. It would be nice to be able to change the size of the boxes manually instead of having predefined L XL sizes and above all, to be able to increase the number of alerts visible beyond 6.

  19. It is imperative that there be a separate/different subject line when a computer is unavailable, and also that it indicates how many computers are involved. This is basic for any RMM and is a huge flaw in your service. For those of us who have a lot of customers/machines, there are a lot of emails that come in daily and it is way too easy to miss ones as critical as unavailability. It cannot be that difficult to have those go out with a different subject line, or even allow for text notifications under those circumstances.

  20. When patches are applied via Atera, they do not show up on the server itself.

    It would be great to see them there as well and sometimes it irritates some customer
