An error occurred while saving the comment PS commentedThis is critical in today's age of ransomware, for instance: an "Events by source" threshold could be used to watch for specific event IDs related to ransomware or problems, and IF we were giving this ability we could fine tune the alert to having actionable events only rather than just clutter. Atera we need this ability ASAP. This combined with the ability to prepend, or postpend to the subject line of an alert would be amazing for this platform.

I don't know if this helps you, but this is what we use: On the threshold of "event by source" you can set "Alert Severity (you choose this)"informational, warning, or critical, warning and critical send me emails, but informational sit in the console. The "Alert severity" is what triggers and defines if you get the email alert, not the "Windows Event Severity." Windows event severity does have to equal the incidence's severity in the eventlog but so do, event id and source for the threshold to be triggered.
