  1. When monitoring the Windows Event Log for events (like Failed Login Attempts), it would be really useful if Atera would retain the events that triggered the alert so we can see them later. Unfortunately, if the alert is triggered and the endpoint goes offline, there's no way to see any detail. Storing this information would really be useful to help diagnose and resolve the issues we're monitoring.

  2. Add a filter to the devices view to sort by OS version. A quick look to see who may be on a version that needs a feature upgrade. If I want everyone to be able to view all devices quickly that are on 20H2 to see who needs to be updated without having to run reports.

  3. Have DNS Addresses show under IP Address for Devices. Would be pretty handy in a lot of situations. It's always DNS!

  5. I have a small business client who is all cloud based and doesn't have any servers that can act as a monitoring agent for devices on their network. I selected a desktop PC at their reception desk to act as the monitoring agent for the office printer but it is likely that PC will go offline. I'd like to be able to specify multiple monitoring agents to act as a fallback.

  6. The ability to rename a device from the mobile app would be helpful. Many customers cycle staff frequently, the ability to rename a device while on-site from the mobile app would be greatly appreciated.

  7. When creating an Advanced Filter for a device view, selecting the Installed Software filter, the Software Version field only allows for major.minor versions. This should be expanded to support longer version numbers such as x.x.x.x

  8. Increase the frequency that user logins are updated, 1 hour is too long when people machine share, this needs to be updated at user login please.

  9. We can setup alerts for sensor data (temp) but we cant monitor manually. Please add this to the UI :)

  10. Currently it takes hours for software information to update automatically.
    It would be great if there was a button to manually update the software information in a Device list. This would also apply to software reporting data.

  11. In many cases I want to remote the computer and end up getting message saying someone else is remoting it. It would be nice if we could see which agents/atera account/tech is remoting it. Or simply a message next to device indicating that someone is remoting it. Not sure if it will be possible.

  12. Would be great to run a profile from the manage agent. Now you have to find the agent, assign a IT automation profile, go back to admin- patch management-apply to - agent-save-Then go back to the profile and click run now...
    Profile is very useful to install base software and then apply script like install bitdefender.

  13. It would be very nice to have a Compliance Management area of the Atera web console where we can set stuff to be checked and monitored for compliance on the devices. For example, if I deploy a GPO to block USB devices, I'd like to be able to measure that, checking the registry items and confirming that the values are configured as expected. The compliance could then be checked via a report or directly in the dashboard for each customer.

  15. Seen in the light of Kaseya hack.
    it could be a good idea, if we could password protect our devices.
    So before we could do anything on the devices management by Atera, it will need a password.

    The password should be located on the devices it self, so the password should goes from the front-end to back-end, and pass it to the device.

  17. It would be nice to have the ability to see transfer rate and percentage completed of a file transfer, as well as the option to cancel the transfer.

  20. The preset threshold for failed log in attempts is currently 3, we are unable to alter this to a higher number. Even Microsoft is currently 5 before they do a lockout. Can we get the option to alter the preset number to something higher either say a preset options to select from a list or a number entry option for the system? Currently when attempted to alter the border just goes gray and does nothing.
