  1. Change/Edit the Ping intervals and Alert intervals of Generic added and monitored Devices.

    It takes about 2 to 4 minutes for the atera dashboard to show that a Monitored Generic device has gone online and I see in the documentation that the default Ping intervals is 120 seconds. Please add the option to change that value aswell as the allert intervals

  2. Enhance our monitoring capabilities by introducing a new feature similar to ActivTrak, which allows for advanced productivity tracking and the identification of suspicious activity on monitored computers.

    We kindly request that Atera consider adding a feature that would enable us to:

  3. Rather than have a particular Device assigned to each user it would be extremely handy to have a Device jump list for the entire customer along the right hand side whilst in the ticket rather than then having to click on Customer > Devices and then find the Device that is relevant to that ticket as not always the case the user has a problem with the device that is assigned to them.

  5. Allow the serial number to be a hyperlink that when clicked, it copies the serial number and then opens another web browser tab that is the support website for the brand of computer you have and you can then past the serial number and search warranty information or other specific information for that specific computer.

  6. Add directory statistics like WINDIRSTAT for disk space management. We need to be able to quickly visualize and identify folders and the amounts of data they are consuming. This can easily be accomplished by integrating a feature similar to WINDIRSTAT https://windirstat.net/

  7. I want to work further with the result from my advanced report filter and move over to the devices section with the result used as device filter. Thus we can e.g. run scripts on the result from the advanced report.

    • Log files: devices that maintain a CIS logs (firewall etc), to have that in a central utility. Meant for troubleshooting. Not just security. We are looking at products and we are leaning towards a product of Solar winds called paper trail. Type of service that many IT are leaning towards.

  10. In the Device Custom Field as well as Custom Assets: Allow text boxes to carry multiple zeros and increase character capacity (we use barcode asset tags). It would be amazing to 1. Add a device to a site 2. Create a custom field under device for "Asset Tag" 3. Go to Site and create the Asset based on the Device that was just added in step 1. 4. If user creates a custom field for Asset tag under Custom Assets section then ATERA recognizes that information from the Device section and allows you to click into it to bring you…

  11. This terminology needs improving
    Retired devices should be renamed to "Infrequent Devices" and in general settings moved to section called reporting rather than agent settings and described as the "Infrequent devices threshold".
    Just because a machine has not been switched on recently, does not mean it is retired! - it could be a laptop that is only used twice a year as a standby, but just should be excluded from certain patch compliance reports etc.

  12. On the devices list, show a column for what contact and customer that devices belongs to.

    The relationship field is important and this uses the contact details for who this device belongs to, some devices are being logged into as a generic username or maybe being logged into using old details, therefore for the username field can be unreliable.

  13. The ability to pull information from scripts that have been run via Atera and then publish the content to a custom field.

    An example would be to run a script to change the local admin password everyday, and then publish that new password to a custom field for that device in Atera.

    We have seen with other RMM vendors via other MSPs that this is achieavble.

  14. While a technician is establishing a connection with a device, Splashtop currently does not provide information about the specific user who is already logged in. Instead, it only indicates that another user has connected. It would be highly beneficial if Splashtop could include the feature of displaying the name of the other user. This addition would facilitate improved team coordination, enabling direct communication with the individual as required. We have prior experience with the N-Able product, which offers this functionality. Thus, we suggest incorporating a similar feature here. Your consideration in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

  15. When we reset a device in the company, for a new employee. Atera is reinstalled as a completely new device. Can you make it that when A new device is enrolled with the same serial number as a current device in the system. The old device is deleted, or prompted to be deleted. At the moment, you have to do it all manually and have multiple devices with the same serial number (the same physical device)

  16. We need much more detailed information about the hardware in our devices. The information is all there and the RMM we come from (naverisk) had this going for it. Have a look, that's how we imagine it: https://i.imgur.com/N3G5Dd0.png

    especially the RAM configuration is important (as you want to know what type you need to extend/replace ram)

  18. On the device: would be nice to know when is the last time the technician connected. Also, would be nice to also have a video to know what happened, if we need to verify, we see the connection that was done.
