  1. I set up the successful logon alert and immediately was being bombarded by alerts of SYSTEM accounts. Can we tune this to where we can specify of it's something like an Interactive login instead? Reason - We manage some servers where a corporation has access as well and we would like an audit of what actual USER is logging into the system, not when the SYSTEM or a remote file is being accessed. Why does no one implement this from the start?

  2. Add the possibility to choose different email templates when a Ticket is created from a an certain alert.

For exemple, if an alert for CPU temperature triggers the creation of a Ticket an email explaining the alert is sent to the user. Then if it's an alert for a disk full, a different email is sent.

Also if an alert triggers to run a script to resolve the issue, if the monitoring goes back below the threshold the ticket created automaticly should be resolved automaticly.

  4. I couldn't find any information on the Network Bandwidth monitor and ended up thinking it worked intuitively, when in reality it doesn't.

Atera's Network Bandwidth monitor is actually monitoring the total bytes sent and received on an interface. A better name for this monitor would be "Network Utilization" as that describes what is being measured, or better yet "Network Interface Utilization" because Atera isn't monitoring the entire network saturation, only the interface utilization on an endpoint.

I do think there's still a place for bandwidth monitoring though. I'd like to monitor for low bandwidth connections so I can be better…

  5. Hello,

Currently there are operating systems that are out of support (for example Windows 7), but many customers still keep this OS and when new devices are added we often don't see that they have these old OS.

It would be nice to have an alert which warns that they have this old OS.

    Thank you!

  6. Alert: would be nice to set an alert that after a week that a device is down, an alert is created.

  7. The new script-based threshold item is a really great addition, but it highlights an important component missing from Atera - inheritance.

When applying thresholds to endpoints, it's necessary to have thresholds inherit monitors from upstream thresholds. Right now in Atera, only one threshold can be applied to any endpoint at a time. What we need are thresholds that can build upon each other and overwrite values based on where the value changes.

For instance, I'd like to configure a top level (default) threshold to apply to everyone, but then get more specific with thresholds at a customer, and even more…

  8. Auto-healing script log.

There is no way of knowing a script has run against an agent or see its output if it was executed as part of an Auto-healing script in a Threshold Profile.

You can see if a Technician runs a script & see its output, just not if it was automatic.

Needs to be logged in the Recent Processes so a timeline of actions can be viewed & also in the Audit Log for audit purposes.

  9. When doing maintenance of whatever on multiple machines, it would be very handy to pause the alerts on all those machines in one time. Now you can only do it per machine.
There is already a multiple select for machines when you're looking at the machines of a customer, so adding a button to pause alerts shouldn't be that difficult I hope.

  11. Now you can only choose if you want sound alerts on/off for both warnings and critical alerts. I would like to see this option to be individual so you can turn off warnings but turn on critical alerts sound warning.

Or add custom sounds so you can set up a silent sound for a warning.

  13. So before the alerts page update, the device name and customer name was a unique hyperlink in which you can (by clicking the mouse wheel button) open the device or customer in a new page.

I need to open a new tab by clicking customer and manually navigating to the device within the customer devices list. This is not a great UI experience and I would appreciate if the old functionality could be restored.

  15. I cannot believe there is no export yet, on alert page. It is kinda crazy how many info can see on alert page but i cannot export em.
Someone should create a feature that makes possible to export all alerts i see, by using filters, and export em with date/time when issue started and ended

  16. https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/4613758024860-Understand-the-Reboot-Required-Indication

Per this link above, There is a feature which was released about reboot required.

However in real practice, We cant get benefit from such.

I propose there should be certain addition in regards to Reboot Required Indicator.

    1) Alerting when and which device require a reboot
    2) From Device Page, We should be able to Filter out the Reboot Required items
    3) Reporting - There should be a dedicated report in regards to this

Hope all the community agree to this and together we strive to make Atera a Great Product !

  17. If an automation calls for a scheduled reboot, the alert system should not alert "machine status unknown" right away. In these instances, it should wait some time (like 20-30 minutes) before alerting. 99% of the time, no alert should occur. If updates fail or a server doesn't come back up after a reboot, an alert should occur since the 20-30 minutes have elapsed.

  18. You currently have an alert for software newly installed or uninstalled but only generates information events in the event viewer.
Please add an option for an email notification. This is really important to be able to monitor all software changes on end devices and as you already have the alerts it should be an easy implementation.

  20. if I add a fix script to an existing threshold item that has already triggered an alert - it doesn't bother to check back and run the script either annoyingly. For example I create a threshold to check whether the windows time service is running and it generates an alert and I then go back and add a script to that threshold item to start the windows time service – it never runs the script! Surely it should next time it checks to see if the windows time service is running go on and run the fix script!
