  1. Use AI to auto assign a device to a contact based on the usage. I think auto-assign might be bit aggressive at time, but it will be good if there is a landing page which will show tentative contact for each device and Admin can just use confirm all to assign devices to contacts.

    Devices are rotated during onboarding or office shuffle. Its pointless to manually change when Atera can use user login info to determine the user for the device.

  2. Hello,

    Is there any way to get notification for every hour for "Machine status unknown"?
    The Atera notification "Machine status unknown - agent has not established communication within the expected interval." was sent only once per server. This should be sent every hour while the server is offline

  3. Have atera compare serial number on device in order to make it easier to hunt down the same agent appearing twice or more because of reinstall of client.

    It would be nice with joint report that shows clearly what machines and to what customer they are connected. And also a auto cleanup cross all customers and for a single customer.

  4. I was told they are not the same, but it is basically the same. You want to know when the system was rebooted/shutdown. I had a client that hadn't rebooted, but they shutdown their machine every night. The system reports this as uptime, which is very wrong.

  8. We should be able to create a tunnel through an atera agent that allows us to administrative access an internal HTTP / HTTPs website for devices like

    • Firewalls
    • Printers
    • Access Points
    • Cameras

    basically anything that you do not want to open up to the world but would like to admin without first logging into a server using splashtop or something else

  9. Having to register the agent on multiple workstation for each user AND in citrix makes my life very difficult. I would like for the agent to pick up the currently logged in user . This is what most other agents do. Or just allow the user to put in their email to submit.

    Generally people just skip doing it and then when they need help they can't submit a ticket. It's very challenging to manage.

  10. It is possible to obtain information from the list of devices if one or more automated tasks encounter errors or were unable to execute during their scheduling due to the agent being offline. Additionally, it is feasible to check the status of all automated tasks by accessing the agent, which includes their successful executions with the most recent execution date, as well as any failures, etc. This feature has already been offered by N-able for some time. I believe this is crucial to enhance productivity, rather than just relying on generating reports.

  11. Enable Availability Monitoring on newly installed agents since workstations need to be manually enabled. This would make it easier to have agents be monitored when adding new ones so they are not forgotten

  12. It would be nice to be able to have at least a second connection to an agent when troubleshooting an issue incase you have to bring a second tech into the problem. Currently, if we try to connect a second tech to a session, it just gives us a message stating that a connection is already made to that agent. Agent status would be nice to to see that someone is connected to it and who is connected to it too.

  14. When making a change on a device, we have to wait for Atera to realise there has been a change. Please give us the option to use a refresh button such as "Get Agent Metrics now" or something similar in order to essentially force Atera to get the most up to date information it can.

  16. Display the most recent/current/'live' temperature of the device/agent.
    After getting an alert, it would be great to have the live or most recent device temperatures displayed in the agent view to confirm the thermals of the device.

  17. Allow agent to gather and report any peripheral data (SN / Model #) for easy inventory and checking based off one device.

    Example:

  20. Would be nice to be able to set up an Atera server as the monitoring agent for website for example.
    Atera's servers are much more reliable that what we have in house for example. Would be nice to set that up as a monitoring agent
