Hiding Atera, Anydesk or splashtop Icons in system tray
I would like to be able to hide the system tray icons for Atera, anydesk or splashtop. We had a user uninstall it and it caused problems trying to connect to and manage their system

Idle on Main Device screen
Having a field on the main screen for a device where it shows whether the device is idle, versus having to click through a couple dropdown menus before getting to the info. It would help to be able to see, at a glance, whether the device is indeed idle before connecting up. This avoids connecting when it's in use, which disrupts the client's work most times when in use.
Several other RMM's have this already, which is convenient.

Linux - Monitor Inode Usage
Storage and inode usage can differ so it must be tracked. High inode usage could result in services crashing or freezing.

Remote
It would be ideal if we can remote into a computer as a different user and not take over the current user session. It would be nice to have this so we can run in another session in the background while the current user is able to stay logged into their current session.
Kind of like how two people can remote into a server at the same time.

Link to thresholds from agent threshold popup.
When in agent, and you click on one of the profiles, it would be handy to have link\button to take you to the thresholds so you can create or edit. Instead of having to click Admin > Thresholds. Just a quicker way to get there.

Use another agent as proxy or gateway for devices without internet access
Allow monitoring devices that have no internet gateway but which are in the same network than other atera agents with full internet access allowed. We have windows machines competely without default gateway entry. I think they will not be able to launch functions which need internet access but maybe we are able to monitor them by redirecting the monitoring information over an existing agent.

SNMP monitoring
It took myself and support (even including escalations) far too long to figure out that if an SNMP device has device availability turned off, it will not trigger alerts at all even if the monitored OID rules have been met.
The monitored OIDs should always be functional and alerts generated, even if device availability monitoring is turned off. For instance, I do not need an alert when someone turns the printer off, but I do need an alert if it is low on toner.

SNMP Description on Alert Email
When we set up a monitored OID and expect to receive an alert when the alert is triggered, it is crucial that description of that alert we set up is included somewhere in that email.
Without it, when we receive the alert email, we have to then go back into Atera and into the device to figure out which alert was actually triggered. Small change I feel but would have a huge impact.

Notifying end users of Remote Access Whilst on the machine
With Security ever growing and having some new clients that have had old IT staff "monitoring" other users' PCs including management - we have been asked if we can show the clients' end user when we are online. Splashtop shows it briefly, but we would like the ability to be able to permanently show the end user when we are online - so a banner in the bottom corner stating who is accessing the PC when they are connected - I feel this should be able to be switched on or off in case there are policy or issues where…

Streamline Agent for HelpDesk, Chat and Registration
Overall we're happy with Atera, but I after migrating from a competing solution I think the agent installation package could be enhanced. It would be better for everyone if perhaps the ability to opt into Helpdesk and/or Chat with a checkbox be added to the installer. Additionally if done silently, with a command line switch. It would also be handy if one could pre-register the HelpDesk for contacts. These enhancements would improve efficiency greatly.

agent health report from device page
Generate agent health report from device page. When investigating a device, it would be handy to be able to generate the agent health report right from the device page instead of needing to choose reports, customer, device name then generate which takes you off the device page.

Agent Summary Errors (Details)
Receiving emails which is cool, but need a way or a details list of what the errors mean. And then maybe what sollutions can be followed to resolved the error messages on the Agent Summary.

Auto-assign Agent to a contact
Use AI to auto assign a device to a contact based on the usage. I think auto-assign might be bit aggressive at time, but it will be good if there is a landing page which will show tentative contact for each device and Admin can just use confirm all to assign devices to contacts.
Devices are rotated during onboarding or office shuffle. Its pointless to manually change when Atera can use user login info to determine the user for the device.

Notification in "Machine status unknown"
Hello,
Is there any way to get notification for every hour for "Machine status unknown"?
The Atera notification "Machine status unknown - agent has not established communication within the expected interval." was sent only once per server. This should be sent every hour while the server is offlineRegards,
